The CNN Diner

I received a call from Bobby Martin of Ogilvy one late Friday. He needed a conceptual linear rendering of a retro-fitting to the Tick-Tock Diner in New York City. The restaurant was to become CNN's broadcast headquarters for the coverage of the 2004 Republican National Convention. The vertical CNN Diner Arrow sign that I designed here was actually fabricated and affixed to the building for the duration of the convention.

Barista Coffee Bar

I was asked to do a couple decorative wall panels for a local coffee bar. This was fun! I was able to apply a couple brushes to the strokes in the piece to create a much more textural look and feel.

Macy's Cellar Logo

Macys Department Stores were in need of a logo that communicated "basement bargain" deals. The Cellar would clear out overstock and unsold wearables at great prices in, where else... their cellar.

Transcend Realty Logo

A realtor in Austin, TX asked me to re-brand her business, focusing on a more personal touch. The word 'Transcend' brought many heavenly winged images to mind... I rendered the linework in a loose charcoal stroke. This was one of the many proposed solutions.

Hasbro 'Get Together Games' Logo

Hasbro has been a great client! I love working with them and they always find new ways to extract good work from the artists they work with. This was a fun logo to explore... It was the only linear direction I explored, but it was my favorite.
